Meet Rep. Teuscher

Replacing: Kim Coleman

Representing District 42 comprising parts of West Jordan, South Jordan, and Herriman, Representative Jordan Teuscher is a new face in the Utah House. A South Jordan native, Jordan ran for office because of his desire to give a voice to his community and the southwest corner of the Salt Lake Valley. After graduating cum laude from the J. Reuben Clark Law School, Jordan joined the Leavitt Firm, p.c. where he practiced primarily international law in Eastern Europe with some local work in civil litigation and criminal defense. In 2014, he went to work for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, managing complex legal agreements and strategic vendor relationships in technology and, more recently, real estate. He and his wife, Aliona, have three children. The Teuschers are big BYU fans, holding season tickets for football and basketball, and traveling for the occasional away games.

Representative Teuscher loves to travel. Just in the past 18 months, he traveled to Ukraine, Finland, and Mexico. His family’s favorite place to visit is Europe. Since traveling has been difficult in 2020, Rep. Teuscher has taken up DIY projects in his free time, building a deck and a pergola at his home in South Jordan. He is excited to begin serving in the legislature and looks forward to this new experience.
